it got too hot outside while we were staying at the beach, so i went on a little op’ shop mission and found a couple of cookbooks that made me laugh. i loved one of them because it had Desserts in the first section – gotta love that right? it also had a recipe for cooking pukeko which sounds pretty..umm…strange. And the book devoted to helping your kids put on weight from The Culinary Arts Institute 1949? i don’t know if anyone has that problem anymore do they? i guess the recipe for Liver Patties would help you out, if you did

as always, i was day dreaming about the possibilites in the mon tricot Spring/Summer 1974 magazine….a stripey dress for dancing (hey, that’s not my idea – that’s what it says), a crocheted bermuda shorts jumpsuit, or maybe a ‘good sweater to wear yachting, mountain-climbing, hunting pheasant in the forest, or even for an expedition in Africa’

please send me the recipe for cooking a pukeko.
Thanks
Because its a game bird; would lemon/orange peel help during the cooking?
Thanks Cathy. I’ll let you have the recipe as soon as I can find it again.
